Setting UP of 33/11 KV Substation

We offer our services of setting up 33/11 Kv substations for any housing/commercial/industrial projects including for any govt. undertaking because we have experienced & qualified professional engineers duly assisted by a team of technical personnel of all level to execute such works. We can execute such works on turnkey bases as per the designed requirements of the client. During the construction/installation and testing of such works, our engineers ensure the quality and high standard of workmanship adhering to the international/Indian electrical standards.

Installation & Testing of Distribution/Power Transformers

JEC over a period of time which is more than 24 years has executed a no. Of high end projects where complete work of sinstallation, Testing & Commissioning of distribution/Power transformers was involved. We have developed the required skill and technical know-how to carry out these jobs on turnkey bases as our technical team of highly professional and experienced engineers has this capability in abundance.

Current Transformers/Potential Transformers

We have all the technical know –how for installation, testing& commissioning of CT/PT’S in a typical grid substation. These instrument transformers are basically installed to transform currents or voltages from a usually high value to a value easy to handle for relays and other control room instruments. They are purposely installed to insulate the metering circuit from the primary high voltage system. Their main function is to measure currents & voltages.

Installation of Lightning Arresters

The lightning arresters are a great protection against sudden voltage surges which may be caused due to cloud to cloud lightning. Voltage Surges can also be caused by standard On & Off switching activities of large Electrical motors of pieces of equipments. We undertake these works as a part of construction of any distribution substation of flawless protection against unwanted and sudden voltage surges.

Installation Testing & Commissioning of V.C.B Panels

Vacuum circuit breakers are used to protect medium and high voltage circuits from dangerous electrical situations. As the name implies, the circuit breaker breaks the circuit so that the energy may not continue to flow through it. Thus it prevents fires, power surges and other related problems which may subsequently occur. The circuit breaker detects a dangerous situation and interrupts the current. Because the contacts are in a vacuum, arcing between the contacts is suppressed, ensuring that the circuit remain open. As long as the circuit is open, it will not be energized. We undertake complete work pertaining to installation, testing & commissioning of VCB’s of various capacities as we have a long experience in this line.

Cable Tray

Cable trays are used as a substitute to earlier system of open wiring or electrical conduit systems. These are now normally used for cable management in commercial and industrial construction. They are quite useful especially in situations where changes in wiring system are anticipated because new cables can be installed by laying them in trays instead of pulling them through a pipe. JEC has the expertise to carry out such works with utmost workmanship & quality standards.

Bus Trunking

We have the technical know-how and competence to provide bus bar trunking system for lightning and power distribution for various current carrying capacities. These days use of bus bar trunking system in the housing/building market has become very common. This leads to faster installation and establishes a system that can be upgraded and reused as the building use changes over a period f time.

Earthing

Proper Earthing of all installations especially electrical equipments and allied accessories is one of the most important aspects for safety of human beings and the working personnel. Design and installation of proper and functional earthing system is thus of vital importance. The earthing system protects the equipment from unwanted voltage surges and transients without damage to highly sensitive equipment.

Our expertise to carry out conventional plate type earthing, pipe earthing and the latest maintenance free chemical type of earthing is well tested over a period of time in our already executed works.

Control Cable Wiring

Proper laying/wiring of control cables in any power system is of utmost importance for hassle free operation of the system. We understand that all cables should be properly laid in cable trays, dressed and clamped properly laid in cable trays, dressed and clamped properly with aluminium flats. The cables have to be terminated at both ends with suitable lugs and ferruls and need to be glanded properly. For identification of each cable, aluminium/paper Tags at regular intervals throughout the run of the cables have to be fixed. JEC has a skilled team of technical personnel to carry out such control cable wiring jobs maintaining high quality and standard of workmanship.

Setting up Control Room

A control room is the central place where all activities are monitored for hassle free functioning of the system. While carrying out such work, our team is well versed in using sophisticated and latest tools for end termination, fixing of straight joints (Both FLP& Non FLP glanding).
